THREE Swan Hill Rural City councillors have confirmed they will stand again in October’s local government elections, while the other three remain undecided.
Mayor Les McPhee, Deputy Mayor John Katis and councillor Gary Norton have all told The Guardian they planned to renominate in this year’s council elections, applications for which open on September 15.
All three are the sole representatives of their wards, Lakes, Robinvale and Murray-Mallee respectively.
But none of the three remaining Central Ward representatives, Cr Greg Cruickshank, Cr Jessie Kiley and Cr Jim Crowe, have made up their minds as to whether they will seek another term in office.
