ULTIMA man Steven Dunn is counting his blessings after he was awoken during a house fire on Thursday last week by his “hero” pet cat Minky.
After Mr Dunn fell asleep on the couch, he was woken to the fire in the flue of his home by Minky clawing at his moustache.
“If she didn’t wake me up I would be dead,” Mr Dunn said.
“She is my hero, I am proud of my cat.”
