CRIME investigators are hunting thieves who stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of property from a primary school and a power products business in separate burglaries in Swan Hill this week.
St Mary’s Primary School on Murlong Street was targeted yesterday morning and Swan Hill Power Products on Nyah Road overnight Monday, although the incidents are not believed to be related.
Swan Hill police Senior Sergeant Gary Hughes said the St Mary’s Primary School alarm was triggered at 2.20am yesterday morning.
“We believe six laptops and one external hard drive were stolen,” he said.
“Anyone who either heard the alarm or noticed any unusual activity at the time please contact local police or Crime Stoppers.”
