AS Good Friday draws closer and families prepare for chocolate filled days with family and friends, it is also the time that The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) appeal and ask Australians to dig deep.
The annual appeal has been running since 1931 and in that time has raised $258 million which has been used to purchase medical equipment and fund research..
Each year, communities reach out by door knocking or manning collection stations with a well known tin that people can place their donations into.
Good Friday Appeal collectors are still required. Volunteers must be over 16 years of age and can collect at any time during the official collection period that suits them. Please call into the Swan Hill Bendigo Bank Branch to register your interest
