A holiday to remember

FORTY-EIGHT children from the Swan Hill area have returned home after enjoying a seven day holiday at the Portsea Camp on the Mornington Peninsula over the summer holidays.

The children aged between nine and 12 enjoyed an action packed week of activities including snorkelling, canoeing, fishing, the giant swing, high and low rope courses, the flying fox, art and craft, abseiling, boat trips and more.

The Portsea Camp runs four week-long camps in school holidays for disadvantaged, special needs and rurally isolated 9-12 year old children, and one for 13-16 year old teenagers. Costs are heavily subsidised.
