KYABRAM quad star Aidan Robinson took out the Quad Riders Club Victoria (QRCV) Victorian MX ATV State Championship at Chisolm Reserve at the weekend.
The Yamaha-sponsored event saw the Kyabram lad take the coveted trophy in the 200-250cc class, which is the state’s premier competition for quads.
The event was well received, and the gold coin donation to Beyond Blue/Mallee Family Care saw almost $300 received, which means just as many punters.
The money raised will go towards creating a men’s mental health awareness pamphlet to be distributed locally.
Robinson, who earlier this year took out the national titles in Alice Springs, was tipped as favourite for the hot day at Chisolm Reserve.
“The racing was awesome all weekend. I got the hole-shot (first rider through the first corner) in every race and I also won every race,” Robinson said.
