Tigers at Tooleybuc

WOORINEN and Koondrook Barham will meet at Tooleybuc tomorrow, with all netball and football games to remain as per a normal Central Murray Football Netball League fixture.

The gate receipts and raffle proceeds will all go towards the Tigers’ rebuild, with Tooleybuc Manangatang also allowing Woorinen the use of their canteen facilities.

Tigers’ president Grant Jones said the club was grateful for the Saints’ assistance and the continued support of the broader football community.

“All the way through all the clubs have been very good,” he said.

Jones said progress was being made on the site of the fire, with the area expected to be cleared by the end of the weekend.

“They’re cleaning up and knocking stuff out,” he said.

He said the club’s first post-fire committee meeting will be held tonight.
