Sammon’s Olympic-sized dream

MAX Sammon hopes to one day represent the green and gold at the Olympics.

The rising star has been shooting for about a year and a half and has already claimed high-end titles against some of Australia’s best shots.

Sammon’s dad Richard is responsible for getting his son into the sport and it was a move that paid off virtually overnight.

“Dad was shooting and I asked him to teach me. He’s a good shot,” Sammon said.

“I realised I liked it straight away but it took a while to start shooting the scores that I am now.”
