THE Division 1 match of the round will be played at Racecourse, when the home side confronts Nyah District.
Bryan Smith, Rod Lusty, Terry Pearse and Mick Holyoak have been in great early form for Nyah and will make the result tight.
Lindsay Ryan, Kevin Rowe, Glen Evans and Blake Vernon played well last week for Racecourse, and if they can repeat that form, Racecourse will win by four shots.
Life won’t get any easier for Tooleybuc when it takes on last year’s premiers Murray Downs at home.
Tooleybuc’s Robert Jager, Darren Cross, Ross Holland and David McCarron are all in good form, but Murray Downs has Ray Lambert, Harry Whitford, Mick McLean and Spruker Cahoon bowling well, and will win by 18 shots.
Moulamein has played well in both matches so far, only to lose by a few shots each week.
Wayne Clark, Dylan Jack Weaver, Ian McNair and Greg Scandolera are in good form, and will be hoping a change of luck when they play Lake Boga.
Boga scored a big win last week, with Lisa Critten, Neil Cockfield, Les Grey and Kyren Myer in good touch.
This game will go down to the wire, with the home side to win by four shots.
Balranald has to travel to play top of the table Swan Hill this week.
Balranald’s newcomers to the club, in Kevin Murphy, Martin Wright, Ray Wilson and Matt Coates, are showing promise and with Geoff Harper and Frank Smith bowling well, they are not far away from a win.
Swan Hill has reshuffled its teams, and is getting excellent results, with Tony Marsili, Barry Husson, Tuppy Lewis and Ron Wolfe all looking good. Swan Hill to win by 11 shots.
