Murrabit’s 500th market

A MASSIVE crowd turned out to mark the 500th Murrabit Market on Saturday.

Vegetables, manchester, food and second-hand goods were splashed across the stalls, with a special appearance by a number of native species – including turtles, dingoes and even a wombat – keeping the crowd entertained.

Gannawarra Shire Council Mayor Neville Goulding, Member for Swan Hill Peter Walsh and Member for Mallee Andrew Broad spoke at an official ceremony.
