IF YOU fancy a hit of table tennis, the local association wants to hear from you.
Teams will be decided following a practice and registration night on Monday night, with individuals welcome to express their interest.
Normal play during the season will see mixed teams of three with matches of singles, doubles and reverse doubles. Play will occur in three grades.
Association president Mario Mangiameli said competition numbers peaked two years ago when the competition was shifted to its current venue at St Mary’s Primary School.
“We had 80 two years ago and last year we had 60. Moving to the new venue might have helped us get that 80,” he said.
Mangiameli said the competition was open to all ages and abilities, with a round robin event to be held each week for the junior competition.
The Swan Hill Table Tennis Association season starts at the St Mary’s Primary School gym in Murlong Street on Monday night from 7pm.
