AFTER 18 months of preparation, the man with a grand plan for bus tours into
Balranald’s Yanga National Park is set to take his first official
customers.
During the past year and a half, Graham Nalder has obtained a
national parks pass allowing him to take groups to pristine wetlands within the
park which are not usually open to the general public.
Getting $10 million in
liability insurance, medical tests, eye tests and workplace agreements were just
some of the hoops Mr Nalder said he had jumped through for the rights.
“I
reckon it would be easier to travel to the moon,” he joked.
But now Mr Nalder
is conducting two 20-seater trial runs on Sunday, January 6 and January 13 to
try it out.
