THE Victorian Minister for Planning has approved a planning amendment to rezone
public land at North Park as a Business 1 Zone.
Swan Hill Rural City Council
last week received notification from the Department of Planning and Community
Development that Amendment C40 had been approved, with the inclusion of
conditions recommended by an independent planning panel.
The approval of the
amendment means part of North Park, on the north-west corner of Beveridge and
Pye streets, has been rezoned from a Public Park and Recreation Zone to Business
1 Zone.
The decision took effect late last week after it was listed in the
Victorian Government Gazette.
