Ammunition found

A MAN will face court after police allegedly found ammunition in his vehicle in Robinvale.

Police intercepted the vehicle about 8.20pm on July 22 and found a box of ammunition.

The driver did not hold a firearms licence. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Rude awakening

A caravan occupant woke to an intruder, on a property in Robinvale, shortly before midnight on July 22.

The occupant disturbed the offender, who fled. A wallet was stolen from the caravan.

Intruder assaults occupants

POLICE have charged a man with serious offences after forcing entry into a Swan Hill home and assaulting the occupants.

The 21-year-old forced his way into the Swan Hill home about 4am on July 31.

The occupants were alerted before they were assaulted.

The intruder fled the scene before he was arrested a short time later.

He was charged with multiple offences and bailed to attend court at a later date.

Family threatened in toilet

A FAMILY was left traumatised after being threatened while using public toilets in Swan Hill.

The male offender, aged 34, kicked at the toilet door in McCallum Street and yelled threats at the family about 4.30pm on July 29.

He fled on foot before being arrested a short time later.

He was charged and remanded in custody.

Car, bus fire

FIRE destroyed a car and bus on a Tyntynder property late last month.

Police were called to an address in Tyntynder Central Road about 1.30am on July 27 to find the vehicles engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were in attendance and extinguished the fire.

The cause was under investigation.
