JACKPOT bowls on Wednesday was well attended, with Graeme Bennett, Noel Delmenico (Murray Downs) and Marg Smith scoring two wins and +18 shots to top the competition. Runners-up, with one win and +9 shots, were Ian Lockhart, Phil Parry and Bruce Mitchell.

Tonight will be the Friday night members’ draw and raffles, with the nearest the pin footy tipping competition on the St Kilda versus Essendon game.

On Sunday, June 19, we have our Tasco Triples, starting at 12.30pm – which is a casual dress event. Names to be in to Kevin Vivian on 0427 353 243 or the club by 11am Sunday.

On Friday, June 24, we have our Friday night tea and double members’ draw and raffles. Choices for tea will be battered fish, chips and salad, roast lamb and vegies or chicken mignon and vegies – with names to be on the board by Tuesday, June 21.

The club has a bowls’ meeting on Monday, June 27, at 10am. The meeting is to select the Bowls’ President, club selectors, match committee and social committee. There is also a need for the members to give the club support for our synthetic green and shed. The club will supply morning tea after the meeting.
