Varying water levels at Balranald Weir

WATER levels at the Murrumbidgee River at Balranald Weir will vary over the next couple of weeks.

WaterNSW customers, boat owners, landholders and other river users are advised to prepare for the varying river level upstream of the weir, to monitor water levels closely and be aware of snags and other obstructions that may appear at the end of the high flow event.

The high water level is likely to persist for the next four to six weeks, and potentially longer if the wet conditions prevail.

Boards from the weir have been temporarily removed for safety reasons.
