A DIRTY track threw up a unique challenge for Swan Hill go karter Coady Gorringe on a recent trip to Bendigo.
During the fi rst round of the Golden Power Series, Coady led the race — like he had done for four laps — before another racer left the track which fl icked dirt into the leader’s path.
He went wide but because of the substance, he was pushed wider and second placed Samuel Downing took full advantage to pass for the win as Coady fi nished second overall.
Coady said he was happy to place in the fi rst event and was already looking ahead to the second round.
