A NEW era of Australian netball commencing at the weekend with the launch of the Super Netball competition, inspiring representative netballers like Charli Meney.
The Swan Hill defender was firmly fixated on the couch as her Melbourne Vixens got over the Collingwood Magpies 58-55 on Saturday night.
New Magpie recruit and Australian centre Kim Ravaillion was in action, a player who has inspired Charli on her journey to selection in Netball Victoria’s Under 17s Northern Zone Academy.
“I tried out for the Under 15s zone last year and I didn’t get in, but this time around I got into bottom age Under 17s,” Charli told The Guardian.
