Headspace Swan Hill’s brand new Facebook page has gone live, giving local youth another platform to engage with the mental health service in town.
Headspace manager Ian Johansen said it was another way to make the community more aware of the things headspace do in the community.
“We are really keen to use Facebook to promote the well being of young people in our area,” he said.
“We’ve been very fortunate to have such great support from the community since we opened and we want to provide more information to everyone who uses our services.”
The headspace Swan Hill Facebook page will primarily target young people, however a strong focus will also be given to family and friends.
“We hope to regularly post on the page about things that lead to people flourishing in the community,” Mr Johansen said.
“There will be a focus on particular subjects like depression or suicide that are topical and it will also be used as a place to show young people what we do at headspace.”
