All of Swan Hill is invited to join in the festive cheer at this year’s Carols by Candlelight at Riverside Park on Sunday December 11.
The free family event will run from 6:30pm, with carols estimated to commence at 7:30pm.
Besides from the carols themselves, there will be a free BBQ manned by the Swan Hill Lions Club and various church members, a jumping castle and face painting.
Swan Hill Carols committee member Jacqui Price said people are encouraged to come along for a fun family night out.
“The event used to be just carols, but we wanted more activities incorporated so families can enjoy a great night out together and parents can relax,” Ms Price said.
“It will start early this year so parents with younger children cans till pop along; people will be able to enjoy themselves becasue it won’t be a late night.”
There will also be a combined choir made up of members of various churches and community organisations, as well as school choirs from Swan Hill Primary School, Swan Hill North Primary School, St. Mary’s Primary School and Sun Centre Christian College.
