LAKE Boga’s feathers remained unruffled at the weekend despite Tyntynder throwing all its energy behind it for its opening round clash.
The Magpies finished eighth last season, just behind Saturday’s opposition Tyntynder, but both teams enter this year’s competition looking healthier than ever.
Tyntynder was pipped at the post by four goals despite a stellar showing in the goal
circle for the Dogs by Jaclyn Clark.
Clark came on in the third quarter to score 16 goals, replacing young gun Zoe Spence-Benfield, who started the game in goal attack.
