THINGS are finally on the up for Woorinen Football Netball Club with temporary facilities given the green light ahead of the opening round this weekend.
The Central Murray Football Netball League (CMFNL) club has risen from the ashes after it was devastated by a fire that gutted its club house in the middle of the season last year.
In order to satisfy competition requirements to host home matches, Woorinen has installed three 40-foot shipping containers to be used as change rooms for the football sides, allocated a female designated toilet block for the netball sides and a temporary facility will be operated as a bar and social room on game days.
