A NYAH constable has been recognised by his superiors for saving a man’s life outside the local police station just minutes after starting his shift.
Senior Constable Mal King was awarded a Divisional Commendation by Superintendent Paul Naylor on Friday for applying Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Nyah resident Wayne Guy, who was suffering a seizure in front of the Nyah Police Station on November 24, 2014.
Sen Const King was presented with the commendation by Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton AM at a Police Medal awards ceremony at Swan Hill Town Hall on Friday morning.
