Eight clubs in junior finals

EIGHT clubs will be represented in the Central Murray Football Netball League junior netball finals starting this weekend.

The 13 and under reserves competition finished with the last round of the home and away season.

13 and under

LAKE Boga and Woorinen will take to the court at 11am at Kerang, with the winner heading to a second semi-final showdown with Swan Hill.

Little separated the Magpies and the Tigers at the end of the home and away season, with the Pies ahead on the ladder by percentage only.

Sunday’s game at Tooleybuc will see Tyntynder and Cohuna fight to stay alive for 2014.

The Bulldogs narrowly missed out on a spot in the qualifying final, only two points behind Woorinen and ahead on percentage.

15 and under reserve

TYNTYNDER and Cohuna take to the court at 12.10pm at Kerang.

The winner will go on to the second semi-final against the Blues, while the loser will be left to fight out the sudden-death first semi-final against either Lake Boga or Swan Hill.

Boga and the Swans were clear-cut elimination finalists.

Swan Hill finished two games and a massive chunk of percentage ahead of Koondrook Barham, while the Pies were three games and a lot of percentage behind third-placed Cohuna.

15 and under

THE Blues will hope to make the most of playing on their home court when they take on Woorinen in the qualifying final at Kerang from 11am.

The Pies finished a game ahead of the Blues who snuck into the qualifying final on percentage from Woorinen.

The winner faces Tyntynder in the second semi-final at Woorinen.

The Tigers take on Cohuna in a do-or-die clash at Tooleybuc on Sunday.

17 and under

NYAH Nyah West United will hope to negate Kerang’s home court advantage when the sides meet in the qualifying final at 12.10pm.

The winner will take on Tyntynder in the second semi-final on September 6.

Cohuna and Mallee Eagles will do battle in the elimination final at Tooleybuc on Sunday.

The Kangas will start favourites after finishing three games ahead of the Eagles.
