Lakers’ band of brothers

JEPARIT Rainbow Football Netball Club has three sets of brothers playing in its senior team.

Club Legend Heath Clugston, who has been a dominant midfielder in the Mallee for over a decade, has had younger brothers Simon (centre half back) and Tom (midfield) playing with him over the last two years, while captain and midfielder Lucas Edelsten plays alongside fullback Tyler. 

This year defender Shannon Launer has moved up from the reserves to play seniors and in the last two weeks his brother Riley, who won the club’s under 16s best and fairest in 2012 has joined the team.
