VISITORS to Swan Hill are not the only ones smiling, with local tourism operators reporting record breaking crowds across the 2012/13 holiday period.
In Friday’s edition of The Guardian Lake Boga Caravan Park manager Dale Key reported record holiday crowds, and BIG4 Swan Hill owner Dianne O’Bryan said scores of old and new customers had flooded her business as well.
“The December period was our biggest month ever,” she said.
“We saw a 20 per cent increase [in patronage] from the same time last year.”
