Panda slippers stolen

A PAIR of distinctive panda slippers were allegedly stolen from a Robinvale home last week.

A money box and the slippers went missing from the George Street home some time on March 15.


Drug arrests

POLICE have recently arrested and cautioned a number of people in possession of drugs in Swan Hill.

Methylamphetamine was found by police in a wallet belonging to a man who was walking along a back road near Swam Hill on Sunday.

A 36-year-old man was arrested, charged and remanded in custody.

Police on Saturday found methylamphetamine in the bag of a man who was walking in Swan Hill.

A 51-year-old was arrested, charged and bailed to attend court on a later date.

Bottles containing GHB were found when police spoke to two men in a Swan Hill street on March 15.

A 35-year-old man was arrested.

Police also later found an amount of methylamphetamine and a knife.

The man was charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.


Male, female cautioned

TWO men were issued with cautions after being caught separately in possession of cannabis.

A man was spoken to last Friday after he was observed riding a bicycle without lights.

He was searched and a quantity of cannabis was located.

The 54-year-old man received an official caution.

A woman riding a bike in Swan Hill was found in possession of cannabis a day earlier.

The 20-year-old also received a caution.


Rental scam

A PERSON was scammed in a social media advertisement for a rental in Swan Hill.

Earlier this month, the victim contacted the details provided and exchanged emails.

They paid a bond on the property only to discover the address was never for rent.

The occupant said they weren’t aware of the scam.
