TODAY

9am: 125th Annual Swan Hill Show – Free entry for children under 16, adults $20 per day, concession, pensioner and students $10 tickets available online.

Features include: Noah’s Thoroughbred Racing Pigs, Midland Axeman’s Wood Chopping, Fun Farms 2 U, Wicked Wildlife, Circus Elements, Golden City Pipe Band and of course Southern Cross Fireworks Friday night.

Plenty of dancing and music, craft pavilions, horses, prime lambs, poultry and caged birds will be showcased. Yard dogs competition Saturday, machinery and vehicles also on display www.swanhillshow.com.au

10am-12pm: School Holiday Free Golf Coaching, Nyah West Golf Club – Free two hour coaching sessions are available to interested students who would like to improve their game or maybe interested in starting in the sport.

Mums and Dads, maybe you would also like to join in. Bookings essential.

8.30pm: Swan Hill Club live music, featuring Acoustic Box.

9pm: Fireworks, 125th Annual Swan Hill Show by Southern Cross Fireworks.


TOMORROW

8am: Lake Boga Foreshore Parkrun. Join us for a walk jog or run along the beautiful 5km course. Bring the whole family, walk and talk with friends, or challenge yourself. It’s the best way to kick off the weekend. For more details www.parkrun.com.au/lakebogaforeshore

8.30am to 12.30pm: Murrabit Market is held on the first Saturday of the month. Approximately 60 stalls selling fruit and vegetables, hand crafts, plants tools, clothes, shoes and hardware.

Please remember to BYO bags. Dogs at not allowed at the market (guide dogs excepted).

10am: Bird Embellishments with Frankie O. Come along for a fabulous time with Frankie O and learn the skills of gold leaf embellishment and collage to create your very own Bird Embellishment print. SUNDAY

8.30am: Swan Hill Farmers Market – loads of fresh produce, local entertainment, food and refreshments.

Come along and support your local farmers at Riverside Park.

1pm-4pm: The Kids Garden – Growing for charity, kids with cancer.

Open garden and plant sale in memory of Taylah J. First Sunday of each month.

Afternoon tea available with all profit donated to charity.

2pm-4pm: Swan Hill Ukulele Group – Come along and enjoy listening to the Swan Hill Ukulele group on a Sunday afternoon at the Swan Hill Club.

3pm: Swan Hill RSL Bingo, every Sunday at the Swan Hill RSL Club – Eyes down at 3pm sharp.


MONDAY

7.30pm: Swan Hill Rock ‘n’ Roll, first Monday of each month at the Murray Downs Golf and Country Club, all welcome.


TUESDAY

10.30am: Murray Downs Bingo, bring a friend and enjoy a fun morning of Bingo with eyes down from 10.30am.

Visitors and new players welcome

10.30am: Social Bowls at the Nyah District Bowling Club. All welcome, names can be rung through. $5 to play, bowls available.

One game before lunch and one after. Bring along a share lunch.

11am-10pm: The Murray Muster, Tooleybuc. The Tooleybuc Sporting Club proudly presents ‘The Murray Muster’ Oct 4, 5 and 6.

Featuring Lindsay Butler, Shaza Leigh, Bruce Green, Peggy Gilchrist, Col Thomson, Kerran Keats, Kinta, Brendan Scott, Venessa Waara and Norm Price.

$20 per person per day ticket, sales at door. Please note cash only upon entry.

Plenty of parking for both cars and recreational vehicles.
