LAKE Boga have kept their winning streak alive with a convincing 14-goal win over Nyah-Nyah West United.
Kangas playing coach Meg Dye said the result was not an accurate guide to how the match unfolded.
“Overall we played a very consistent game of netball where we were able to contest and put Lake Boga under great pressure,” she said.
“Our attack end played a very consistent and patient game, while our defence end worked hard all day and were able to slow Lake Boga up at times.”
The Kangas were able to keep themselves to within six goals of their opponents for the majority of the match.
However, a poor decision in the last quarter proved costly, allowing the Magpies to take control and come away with their 14-goal win.
“Credit to both teams as there was some really good netball played,” Dye said.
