There was no mucking around when Swan Hill welcomed its first baby for 2017.
“We rang the Swan Hill hospital about 20km out of Ultima because we had no time for an ambulance,” father Frank Primerano said.
Joseph Daniel Primerano, who was expected on New Year’s Eve, was born to mother Skye on Tuesday, January 3, at 2.51am.
Their first son, Anthony, quickly fell in love, showing his adoration for his new younger brother by climbing up the pram for cuddles.
“Emergency was waiting for us. It was like a pit stop; they had the trolley ready for our arrival,” Mr Primerano said.
