FOOTBALLING legend and Country Cup Ambassador Billy Brownless was on track at the Swan Hill Pacing Cup on Saturday, with hundreds of locals pouring through the gates in perfect weather conditions.
The former Geelong Cat was walking around meeting and greeting all the locals at the main event for the Swan Hill Trotting Club, with the former Commercial Hotel owner mixing with some old faces.
His pre-race picks were coming off early, backing the first two winners and then the Pacing Cup winner Hectorjayjay, but Mr Brownless said it was about enjoying the atmosphere of a good cup day.
