A MAN in his 20s died after crashing a car into a tree in Swan Hill on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the man was driving north along River Road when he failed to negotiate a bend and struck a tree about 5.15pm.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle, a white sedan, and died at the scene.
Police have notified the man’s next of kin and investigations are continuing into the crash.
The death brings the state’s road toll to 185.
