THEY are among the biggest names in Aussie rock and they are set to roll into Swan Hill later this year.
Four iconic Aussie rock bands — Pseudo Echo, Thirsty Merc, Chocolate Starfish, and The Black Sorrows — will line-up at the town’s inaugural River Rock Fest on December 3, alongside local supporting acts including Code 5.
Event promoter David Storer said he was “amped” ahead of hosting his first major event in his home town.
Storer first began promoting outdoor events in 2009 after many years as a musician, and has managed four Red Hot Summer Tours in Broken Hill, Mildura, Traralgon and Albury.
He organised the first River Rockfest in Mildura in 2014, an event solely financed and run by he and his wife Lyndsie.
A second River Rockfest was held in Mildura last year, with a strong line up including Taxiride and The Choir Boys.
