Woorinen’s outright win

WOORINEN claimed an outright win over Swan Hill in Swan Hill District Cricket Association under 17s action on Friday night.

Batting first in the two-day game, Woorinen had put on a solid effort to record 213 runs from 38 overs.

In its two innings, Swan Hill managed just 60 and 39, giving Woorinen the outright win and first innings points.

At Lake Boga, St Mary’s Tyntynder won outright and took first innings points over Lakers.

Gurinder Khangura top-scored for the home side with 25 but his side could only manage a total of 49 for the innings.

Logan Mensforth claimed 2/7 as St Mary’s got on top early.

Jesse Alty hit 79 with the bat and retired not out, with the visitors going on to record 4/216.

In their second innings, Lakers managed only 50.

Under 14s

SWAN Hill claimed first innings points at home against Lakers on Saturday.

Batting first, Lakers collapsed to be all out for just 43, with three Swan Hill bowlers taking two wickets each.

In reply, Swan Hill hit 189 from 47 overs.

In their second innings, Lakers were on 1/59 from 19 completed overs.

At North Park, the Razorbacks claimed first innings points.

Northern Razorbacks batted first and compiled 132, with RSL being dismissed for 126.

At Sea Lake, the home side lost on first innings to St Mary’s Tyntynder.

St Mary’s batted first and made 148 from 40 overs, with openers Brent Daniels and Brady Fordham retiring on 45 and 21 respectively.

In reply, the home side managed 110 with Beau Alty taking three wickets for St Mary’s Tyntynder.
