IN A grade this week, Sharp Packaging were trying to get themselves into finals contention with a big win over R&J Joinery, with the final score of 9/2.

Aaron Threadgold and Santosh had three big victories for the winning team.

The next game saw Pooles Accounting defeat Bakker & Glen 6/5, where it all came down to the last set of the night when Stefan Mangiameli was able to get the better of Paul Johnson.

For the losing team, it must be said that Paul Johnson and Jovenar Ocampo have had a terrific season and both managed two wins on the night.

The final A grade match saw Swan Hill Sheds win a close game over Kunat Thunder 6/5.

In a replay of the club championship game between John Threadgold and Jason Mangiameli, it was Jason who turned the tables and won in an epic five set match.

The first game of B grade saw Syd Wilson Auto Electrics prove too good for Murray Valley Technology Centre 8/3.

Luke Burge won all of his singles games and was assisted by Basil Spicer who won two games.

For MV Technology, Ali Shah tried hard winning two games.

The next game saw Swan Hill Windscreens prove too strong for Swan Hill Chemicals, winning 7/4.

Kevin Burge was his team’s best after winning three games and for the losing team, Roberta Spicer as a fill-in won two games.

Next up saw GMG Accounting play Advanced Packaging, with GMG winning 7/4.

A very even spread of effort saw all three players for GMG winning two games each, while for the losing team, Neil Williams showed he hasn’t lost it by winning all three games.

The last game of the night was the closet in B grade, with PDF Accounting beating Swan Hill Drivers Ed 6/5.

Chas Tallboys is continuing his good form by winning all three singles games, while Rohan Ward started playing mid season for Swan Hill Drivers Ed but is showing better results each week after winning two singles matches this week.
