Grain Shed

AS we welcome autumn and say goodbye to the official summer for another year, let our thoughts and prayers be for all the firefighters, volunteers, emergency services and those affected by the recent and ongoing bushfires in regional Victoria.

Tonight, at 7pm, Grain Shed youth meet. In between some games and food, Jesus is on the front line. If you are/have a secondary student who is interested please contact youth@thegrainshed.org.au.

Sunday, at 10am, our doors are wide open for all. Come and listen to Pastor Shayne with his message continuing in the series “From House to Home”.

Romans 15:7 urges us to accept one another, just as Christ has accepted us. This acceptance is rooted in the love and grace of God, who embraces us unconditionally as His beloved children. As we accept who we are in Christ, we are empowered to extend that same acceptance to others, regardless of differences or shortcomings.

Likewise, let us embrace the call to acceptance, recognising the inherent worth and dignity of every individual. As we accept ourselves in Christ, let us extend that same grace and love to those around us, embracing them with open arms and open hearts.

Our Grain Shed Kid program also kicks off at 10am, with the check-in desk open from 9.45am and for children, aged from three to Grade 6.

Lots of playing, laughs and good fun while learning more about Jesus. A big thank you for all your energy, dedication and love for Jesus. To Linde, Francois and all the student leaders, you are all amazing.

Monday, at 10am, Mainly Music looks forward to greeting any mums, dads, grandparents or carers with newborns through to preschool age for an interactive music session, followed by morning tea and playtime. Cost $5 per family. Contact Robyn.carson@thegrainshed.org.au or call 5032 9449 for more information.

Thursday, 10am to noon, craft ladies stitch their way through the morning and are, of course, armed with a good coffee.
