The annual Reciprocal Tournament was held last the weekend, with 220 competitors teeing off each day.
Eight of these players were women and the team of Bev West, Jenny Lynas, Judy McMahon and Kerry Gammon won the local teams’ event, but only by one point.
This was a first for a team of women in this event, although they have come close on other occasions.
