Barham Koondrook
Garry Lolicato
Has shown himself to be Barham Koondrook’s most impactful player with either bat or ball, despite having played just four games so far.
Is built for the T20 format and has the ability to both work the ball into the gaps or hit the boundary depending on his teams’ needs.
Murrabit
Toby Grey
Has had a blistering start to his first season in the SHDCA, having scored the third-most runs (202 runs at 50.50) during the Kookaburra Cup one-dayers.
Will need to be at his best if Murrabit are to trouble the better teams, facing a tough start against St Mary’s Tyntynder and Wandella tomorrow.
Nyah District
Joel Walsh
Despite being unavailable for Swan Hill and Ultima-TUF tomorrow, Walsh is still expected to have a big say in Nyah District’s fortunes this tournament.
Has the capability to tear an innings apart in a five-over burst with either bat or ball, and at his best is one of the most damaging batters in the association.
RSL
Brenton Caldwell
Has had a slow start to the season, playing just the three matches (29 runs from two innings), but is still RSL’s best all-rounder.
His six-wicket haul against Wandella proved just how valuable Caldwell is, and the Blues will need him at his best if they are to push deep into the tournament.
Swan Hill
Lachlan Edwards
One of the form batters across the Kookaburra Cup competition, Swan Hill will be needing more of the same from their captain if they are to break through for their first points of the season.
An attacking batsman who scores quickly, Edwards will be the key wicket for any team playing the Swans.
St Mary’s Tyntynder
Jake Foster
Damaging opening batsman who has quickly formed a formidable partnership with leading run-scorer Jonty Chaproniere.
Loves the shorter format of the game, having scored 212 runs at an average of 42.4 in last years T20 format, and although yet to take a game by the neck this season, he has the ability to turn his form around very quickly.
Ultima-TUF
Jordan King
Has had a blistering start to the season and is Ultima-TUF’s leading run-scorer and wicket-taker from the opening seven weeks of the season.
Does most of his damage with the ball, taking 11 wickets so far this season, and will be required to make early inroads with the new ball each game in order to restrict his opposition’s ability to post a big score.
Wandella
Greg Dickson
While the Bombers have several batsmen capable of scoring quick runs, Dickson has form in the T20 format, scoring 155 runs at an average of 77.5 last season.
Batting in the middle order, Dickson will be relied upon to either finish Wandella’s 20 overs with a flurry of runs or hold down the fort, depending on the circumstances.
Woorinen
Cooper Fox
While Fox has endured a slow start to his 2023-24 campaign, he was the leading run scorer in the T20 competition last season.
Is one of the fastest scoring batsmen in the league and if not dismissed early, can easily take a game away from any opposition.
