Excitement builds for skate park

THE much-anticipated Robinvale Skate Park is almost complete, as the final irrigation and landscaping works get underway.

Swan Hill Rural City Council director development and planning Heather Green said she looked forward to the opening of the park, expected to occur in late December.

“It’s obvious that Robinvale community members are engaged and very excited to have a new recreational facility on the way,” she said.

“Robinvale Skate Park will be a vibrant and engaging space for residents of all ages, enjoyed for many years to come.

“The final elements are currently being completed, ensuring the long-term sustainability and aesthetic appeal of the skate park.

“We can’t wait to open the facility and see residents enjoying the many elements that the Skate Park will offer – it’s an exciting time.”

The project is supported by the State Government’s, Local Sports Infrastructure Fund and the Regional Infrastructure Fund.
