Drugs in car

POLICE arrested a driver after intercepting a vehicle on the Murray Valley Highway at Nyah on October 4. A large container of prescription medication with Chinese labels was found in the vehicle.

The driver was taken to Swan Hill police station, where they were released pending further inquiries.


Landcruiser stolen

A maroon Landcruiser wagon was stolen from a Swan Hill supermarket carpark around 11.30am on Sunday, October 8. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition and was found in the vicinity of Riverside Park later that day.


Theft from scooter

A debit card and a mobile phone were stolen from a mobility scooter between 9am and midday on October 3 in the vicinity of Swan Hill Square. The card was used by the offender before the victim was able to cancel the card.
