Fuel theft

TWO hundred litres of diesel fuel has been stolen from a Lake Boga shed. Between July 21 and 24, at roughly midday, offenders broke into three unlocked pump sheds, threw a fuel tank into the properties dam and damaged electric pump vacuums and cut wiring.

Motorbike stolen

OFFENDERS have stolen a green and grey Kawasaki 110 motorbike from a Gray Street property in Nyah West. Offender/s broke into a garage at the back of the property between 6am on June 13 and 8am on July 10.

Shed fire

A SHED in Murrawee has been destroyed by fire, including more than $400,000 worth of machinery, equipment and vehicles inside. The property’s owner heard a bang from the rear of his property at about 9am on July 28 but thought nothing of it. The owner returned soon after and immediately called 000 after seeing smoke exiting the shed. There are no suspicious circumstances.

Café break-in

CCTV footage shows an unknown offender using a screwdriver to attempt to gain entry to a Swan Hill store just after midnight on July 27. An hour later, the offender removed the fly screen from a second window and smashed the glass with a hammer. Once inside the store, the offender tried to access the cigarette cabinet but was unable to open it. Drinks were taken from the store’s fridge as the offender exited.

Camera operator intimidated

A MOTORIST on the Calder Highway near Yatpool has observed a B-double truck perform an unsafe overtake after tailgating their car. The motorist had performed a safe U-turn to travel toward Mildura before the truck closely followed the car and sounded the horn. The victim noted the truck’s registration and police are making enquiries.
