IT was a packed auditorium at the Tooleybuc Sporting Club last Friday night as they hosted the first in their bi-monthly musical shows.

SOS – A Tribute to Songs of Abba was a huge success.

The Melbourne-based tribute group belted out all the well know hits from the Swedish super group as many of the audience took to the dance floor.

All the group members have a background in musical theatre and the show they bring lends itself to those talents.

As the members take to the stage they take on the character of the originals and their love of the stage and all things ABBA bought a taste of the 70s to the Tooleybuc Sporting Club.

In the 10 years the group has been around it has taken the show to many regional areas as well as metropolitan Melbourne and even overseas.

Tooleybuc Sporting Club chief executive John Cameron said he was very pleased with the rollup.

“It is a good start to our ongoing program of bringing quality bands and entertainment to our members and guest,” Mr Cameron said.
