WITH our crazy fluctuating weather conditions, Innocence and Attitude’s Carrie-Ann Robins says trying to Master the right outfit for this year’s racing is proving more than a little Miss-tery for parents.

The traditional outfitter of Swan Hill’s junior racegoers, Carrie-Ann admits the weather is making fashion selection a bit of a gamble in 2023.

But she says Innocence and Attitude has clothes for every occasion, “rain, hail or shine”.

“The emphasis the racing club puts on the family atmosphere makes this such a popular occasion to take the children to as well as all the entertainment for them, there is also the opportunity to shine in the Miss and Master Racegoer awards, to be held tomorrow, as part of the three days of fashions on the field,” Carrie-Ann says.

“So even if the weather is on the cooler side, there will be plenty of things to keep your children on the go and warm,” she says.

“What we are noticing this year is a lot of the young set – and their parents – are leaning more towards the casual look, outfits that will work for a day at the races and then still be good for weekends and after school.”

She says with the fashion industry always working at least a season ahead, the major brands are usually all over shifting trends in the market.

The clothes on the racks at Innocence and Attitude today are exactly what her customers are looking for.

“We cater for the three-year-old to those young teens, up to 14, in sizes 3-16,” Carrie-Ann explains.

“At the older end of that range, the boys and girls are both getting much more conscious of what they are wearing – and what they want to wear, so if you are looking to purchase quality, trendy and popular brand clothing for a young child, tween or teen in your life, you’ve come to the right place,” she says.

“It’s a funky and cool store and even though we have that casual emphasis, we also maintain our ‘high fashion’ special occasion wear – in all sizes and all-year round.

“My aim is to get as many cool, well known and trusted Australian brands for the kids in the one location, at Innocence and Attitude.”
