TYNTYNDER’S GALA DEB BALL
TYNTYNDER Football and Netball Club held their annual debutante ball in front of a full house at the town hall last month.
Nine debutantes and their partners were presented to club dignitaries, family and friends in an elegant affair choreographed by Cara Devereux.
Hosted by Marc and Kate Corrie, the theme this year was Gala.
The boys looked dashing in classic black suits, which shirts and black bow ties.
A sneaky splash of colour was added in the form of purple cartoon socks.
The girls leaned towards more traditional gowns with half opting for off-the-shoulder.
Flower girls, Poppy Pearce and Isla Sanders shone in their roles and enjoyed the dancefloor after the formalities.
The parent-child dance was a highlight with parents presenting their child with an elegant sash to mark the occasion.
The evening was organised by a team of volunteers led by Leanne Bibby.
