Vehicle safety caution after blaze

POLICE are recommending owners check their vehicles and trailers are safe after a roadside fire on Saturday morning.

CFA had the blaze on Woorinen-Vinifera Road under control quickly and are investigating the cause.

Acting Senior Sergeant Matt Wade said that drivers need to be responsible for making sure their vehicles and trailers are up to road standards.

“Check and make sure your vehicles and trailers are not dropping bits or have pieces that dangle and heat up or spark and cause issues,” he said.
