Swan Hill Darts results

INTO the home straight, all Swan Hill Darts Association teams have started the third and final round of fixtures in this year’s winter dart season.

The RSL Gunners hosted the SHC Blazers at the Swan Hill RSL this week, with one of the RSL players out, and a fairly one-sided contest ensued.

The Gunners managed to win just one of their games for the night, going down to the Blazers 8-1.

Rohan Ward had the highest peg for the week with a 3/114, while Sophie Williams threw the highest score for the women with a 120.

Let’s Get Pegged took on the RSL Have A Goes at the Swan Hill Club and struck early, winning the first doubles game.

In classic Have A Goes form, they quickly racked up six games to take out the night 6-3, with Let’s Get Pegged securing one of their singles and the teams game.

Let’s Get Pegged’s Rhiannon Glare threw the best peg out of the women, with a 2/58.

Out at the Tooleybuc Hotel, the Tooley Tigers took on the Ultima Bullchuckers, with both teams equal on the ladder with the exact same percentage going into the match.

In the end it was the Bullchuckers who claimed a 6-3 victory to take third spot on the ladder.

Ultima took an early 4-1 lead after winning the first three doubles matches and the first singles match.

The Tigers claimed victory in the second singles game, but then lost the following two, each in three legs, before winning the teams game.

Richard Ward from the Bullchuckers threw a 180 in one of his singles.
