TWO days of country music is returning to the Tooleybuc Sporting Club, featuring artists from around the country on 24 September.
Event coordinator and promoter Col Thomson said this year’s Murray Muster is starting to pick up momentum.
“We’ve got a good line-up of entertainers, and it should be really good fun,” he said.
This is the sixth Murray Muster that Mr Thomson is organising, adding it to his calendar of country music festivals around regional Australia.
“It’s getting slightly bigger each time, and this will be the biggest since I took it on,” he said.
“At its peak, it used to have hundreds of people attend, to the point you couldn’t fit all the people in the venue even with three stages.”
As the event continues to rebuild in popularity, Mr Thomson is looking to open the Burgundy Room as a second, more intimate stage alongside the main stage.
“We have great support from the community, everyone that comes along and the artists,” he said.
Tickets are available through Tooleybuc Sporting Club.
