AFTER a frosty and very cold couple of days, how nice it is to see nature awakening, showing signs of spring and that hope of better things to come. God is reminding us of something beautiful: seasons change.
It sounds simple but it’s actually profound.
God reminds us that right here, this season of life is but a moment in the grand scheme of things.
God is doing a new thing right here – trust Him.
Don’t look at the progress, just trust the process.
He’s got you and He’s working.
“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” (Romans 1:20)
Woo-hoo! Tonight our Grain Shed Youth are back for Term 3, with a 7pm start.

A group of adult and student leaders eagerly await them as they have lots of fun things planned while learning about Jesus.
On Monday there will be no Mainly Music at the Grain Shed.
The next session will be on Monday, August 5, at 10am.
On Thursday, the craft ladies will meet from 10am till noon.
Did you know that there are only 152 days until Christmas?
The Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child runs its shoebox appeal every year and at the Grain Shed boxes are available for people who don’t have any old shoe boxes to fill.
We are also the drop-off point for filled boxes.
Check out www.occ.samaritanspurse.org.au for ideas on how to pack a shoebox.
This is a hands-on way to bless children around the world with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and fun gifts.
These boxes are distributed in the name of Jesus to children living in vulnerable situations.
Anglican Church
PLEASE pray for the new rector, Rev Julie Worrall, and her husband Peter as they move into our district. Julie will be inducted in the Swan Hill church on Thursday, August 8, at 6pm. All are welcome to join in for the service and supper afterwards. Please come and welcome them.
Rev Wayne will continue to minister and care for our parish until his last service on August 4. We have been truly blessed to have Wayne and his wife Helen as members of our church and community during 2023 and 2024. A great locum!
