Darts Notes

THIS week the two RSL teams went head to head, although despite some very good darts, it proved to be a one-sided affair.

The Have A Goes won 9-0, with three of their four players throwing 140s.

With Johnson Field throwing the shortest game of the night with a 23-darter and Tosh Gleeson with the best peg of two over 88, the Have A Goes were always going to be hard to score against.

The Ultima Bullchuckers hosted Let’s Get Pegged at the Ultima Golf Club, with the fixture starting 2-2 after the doubles.

The Bullchuckers managed to win the next four singles matches to secure the win, with Let’s Get Pegged managing to take out the teams’ game to eventually go down 6-3, with Rhiannon Glare throwing a women’s high of 140 in the teams’ event to help win that game.

At the Swan Hill Club, the SHC Blazers took on the Tooley Tigers for the first time this season, with the Blazers taking an early lead after winning three of the four doubles matches.

They then secured two of the four singles games to give them the minimum five matches required for the win, with the Tigers managing to hold on in the teams’ event, but still going down 4-5, with Sophie Williams throwing an impressive best women’s peg of two over 66 in one of her doubles games.
