Swan Hill Bowls Club

Keen bowlers continue to attend permitted practice at our Club in anticipation of the pennant getting underway in the not too distant future.

Providing there are no changes to Covid restrictions, Friday Frolic will be on today, names in by 2.30 for a 3 PM start.

The raffles and socialising after Friday Frolic and Saturday practice are a good chance to catch up with your fellow bowlers and please sign in or QR code on arrival with still only 10 in the Clubhouse and 20 outside.

If you would like to be put in a group for pennant practice tomorrow, please write your name on the sheet today for a 1 PM start.

The greens are open from 11 AM daily and quite a few visitors have enjoyed our facilities recently.Our coach, Brian Mansbridge, is available Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4.30 PM and if this time does not suit, you can arrange another time with him.

Racecourse Bowls Club

RACECOURSE PRACTICE TEAMS

The Racecourse Bowls Club has organized a practice session for Saturday 16TH October at 1 pm, Covid status in Swan Hill permitting.

All players are asked to come along.

These teams are only a first draft, so please come along: even if we have missed your name there will be a game for you.

If all goes well the Murray Valley Playing Area has programmed the 6th November for Round 1 of Saturday Pennant, and Midweek Pennant to start on 9th November.

Lake Boga Bowls Club

Great to see so many bowlers to Practice bowls on Saturday 9th October, we hope it won’t be too long before we can start playing pennant.

Wednesday 13th October lots of people came to practice bowls, it was good to see the weather improve with the sun shining and bowlers getting out in their summer gear.

Saturday the 16th October and Wednesday the 20th October, will be practice again. Names in by 12.30 to start play at 1.00 pm . All Welcome. Duty player for Wednesday 20th is John Pye.

Cleaning roster for October 21st Ted Hyland, Shirley Swan, Marie O’Meara, Helen and Alex Jobling.

Social Bowles to start Thursday practice 0n October 28th, for a come and try evening, all welcome.
